A secluded Airstream Getaway
Wildernest is a secluded mountainside vintage Airstream getaway located on a forested mountainside slope on Bowen Island. Just a 20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver, B.C., here in the Pacific Northwest, Canada.

I’ve been following the owners on Instagram prior to announcing this project, so it’s been fun to watch its’ progress this past year. I knew when it was finished I had to share it as one of my Hotel Style posts here on the blog. The listing just went live this week on Airbnb and it’s dreamy!

Dubbed, Moonshot the Landyacht, the 1971 Airstream on the property has been completely rebuilt into a super-comfy, memorable escape, perfect for a couple’s vacation or weekend getaway.

With a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, there’s also an adorable outdoor vintage bathtub built for two nestled up against a gorgeous black exterior.

Inside Wildernest Airstream Bowen Island

Wildernest is located on the south end of the 7.5 acre property.“Following an illuminated trail you’ll arrive at your own space which includes your Airstream and private shower cabin. There’s a wood fire pit area at the cliffs where the trail begins and over an acre of land for you to enjoy. You’ll be staying in a 31′ vintage Airstream Landyacht with every amenity possible included inside. Outside, enjoy your propane fire pit, picnic table, hammock and a charcoal BBQ.”

I’m loving all the natural finishes which compliment the outdoor natural setting. Fun ammenities like a turntable, game console and all the movie channels you can think of are included after a night out by the campfire. I think I want to actually live here!
