A dream team. Marimekko and IKEA are collaborating on a collection inspired by the Nordic sauna culture, launching March 2023. Marimekko’s art of printmaking with IKEA’s home furnishing knowledge should make for an exciting mix.
No word on exactly what’s yet to come (only a few colourways on the Marimekko’s website —see screenshots below); but with the sauna bathing tradition deeply rooted in the Scandinavian culutre, and the popularity it brings to the wellness realm, it’s something to look forward to for sure.
The collection will be sold exclusively at most IKEA stores worldwide and the products will be revealed at a later stage. Stay tuned!
