Hanna Eidson is a fibre artist based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who specializes in hand hooked and machine tufted rugs. Growing up in California, her family encouraged a lot of crafting and her love for fibre art (especially wool) began at age four when her mom taught her how to knit. After moving to Nova Scotia in 2016, she took a rug hooking class and in her own words, “was immediately hooked”. More recently she’s acquired a tufting gun which allows her to scale up her production.  Love her non-traditional designs in such a traditional field; such great colours and humour.

Her work sells out pretty fast, but word on the street is she’s updating her shop this Friday, February 12th at 1pm AST on her website hhhooks.com.

In the meantime, check out some of her work below, and follow her on Instagram here.
