This galley idea is rather easy to make happen. I think a simple black and white theme is a way of keeping things nice and minimal too.

I know someone who’s using part of our living room right now for a home office. This option of two tables together could be helpful when it’s time for dinner so we’re not having to clear it off each night to eat.
